Better Late than never!

Hey guys! I'm so sorry I've been such a horrible blogger, as my last update was forever ago :( I simply got really busy with school and everything, and have been so busy reading and watching everyone else's blogs/vlogs, I kinda felt like it was unncessary to "repost" everything everyone else was already talking about. However, this is everything Disney College Program related....and then some random moments, through my eyes...and no one can duplicate that! This post is gonna basically be a random update on my life, so sit tight, and I promise the future posts won't be so scatter brained like this one.

So we are coming closer and closer to my arrival date --August 11th-- and I couldn't be anymore excited. My friend Stefanie whose also from Northwood University is down there right now and she's having the time of her life. She had to live in Vista, due to the fact that CP ran out of housing in the other complexes. On the other hand, she LOVES Vista, and she highly reccomends it. Another thing that has happened recently, is that I celebrated my 21st Birthday! I'm super stoked to be legal during the CP as it will def. add more amazing-ness to my time there and epic times are sure to be had by all :) One of my amazing roommates got me the "Disney Encyclopedia A-Z", which is the biggest book of EVERYTHING Disney. I can't wait to dive into it and use it while I'm down there. My parents got me this amazing Luggage set that comes with everything imaginable when it comes to traveling. Even though Laura Barritt and I are driving down together, this set is gonna be so useful when packing.

This past Thursday, Hilary Schafer ventured to Midland, MI to meet up with Laura Barritt and I at NU for an amazing evening of food and CP 'first time meeting-ness'. It was amazing meeting Hilary (and we wished really hard for some Trish Nguyen, but apparently CALI is too far, lol <3) and for the first time it hit me that I'm going to be meeting so many new people that are gonna become life-long friends :) And as for right now, I'm back home in Chicago for a long weekend that's consisting of friends, family, and the PRIDE FESTIVAL! Expect an update soon, and thanks for reading!

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes!

Hey guys, alright...this post is all about making "changes" before heading down to CP. For instance, I just signed up for this "8 week Body Challenge" at this workout place called"Seung-Ni" (SeungNi.com). It's this challege where they weigh you and your body fat, and all that stuff we all LOVE to hate, and its like a contest between teams that are built in the program. I felt before I head down to Florida for 5 months, some toning and tightening up wouldn't be a bad idea, haha.

What are some "changes" you guys are doing to prepare for the CP? Are you too trying to become 'bathing suit ready', or are you slowly cutting down the color of your highlights, in order to prepare for the Disney Look? OR do some of you find yourself actually studying more and improving on your grades, knowing that "just one more term" is all you have and then you're off to CP? Haha, I find myself doing that, but at times it backfires and then I get the bad mentality of "Who cares, I'll be in Disney in a few months". Take my fraternity, Tau Kappa Epsilon, for example. I love my brothers and what we stand for, but knowing that I'm not going to be at NU for the first half of the year, I admittedly am already 'checked out' for the reamainder of the year. COMMENT below and tell me what "changes" you're going through, good and bad, and hopefully we can all help eachother and be eachothers support system. After all, we are gonna be family in just a few short months :)

P.S. watch this AMAZING proposal @ Disneyland...it's the best I've ever seen :)

My arrival date is August 11, but I plan on goin down a few days earlier, to scope out the area and to attend our-pre arrival dinner the night before :) My role is attractions and I couldn't be more excited, hopefully I get to be a tour guide of some sort, so I can interact with the guests as much as possible. I am going to be having a vlog also, and I will  post those videos up on the blog as well. "From Kegs to Kingdoms" is going to be the place to learn all about my experience as a WDW CP from months before I start to pack, all the way to what happens after you complete the program. So thanks for checking "From Kegs to Kingdoms" and FOLLOW me, beacause lots is sure to come!
